NOTICE ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Bid Date: October 14, 2021 Sealed Proposals will be received by Lower Bucks County Joint Municipal Authority, 7811 New Falls Road, Levittown, Pennsylvania, 19055 until 11:00 A.M. prevailing time, October 14, 2021 for: CONTRACT NO. WWTP-430 FURNISH AND SUPPLY NEW KENNEDY FIRE HYDRANTS, VALVES AND PIPE TO LOWER BUCKS COUNTY JOINT MUNICIPAL AUTHORITY, LEVITTOWN, BUCKS COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA Public bid opening and reading of bids is scheduled for 11:00 A.M. prevailing time, October 14, 2021, at the office of the Managing Director at the above address. The bid proposal shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and be delivered to the Authority’s Managing Director’s office prior to 11:00 A.M. prevailing time October 14, 2021. Delivery of all proposals to the Authority office shall be the sole responsibility of the bidder. Submission of bid proposal through FAX or E-mail will not be accepted. Copies of WWTP-430 Contract Documents may be inspected and procured at a cost of $100.00, NON-REFUNDABLE, at Lower Bucks County Joint Municipal Authority’s Wastewater Treatment Plant, 7900 Route #13, Levittown, PA 19057 (telephone: 215-946-0731), between 7:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M., Monday through Friday beginning September 30, 2021 by appointment. All Contractors desiring to bid shall have the experience of successfully completing at least two (2) similar size projects in the last five (5) years. Each bidder will be required to submit, with his/her bid, the completed Qualification Form contained in the contract documents. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check or a Surety’s Consent and a Bid Bond payable to Lower Bucks County Joint Municipal Authority in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid. The said Surety shall be bound to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, thereafter required on the specified Bond Forms included in the Contract Documents. Lower Bucks County Joint Municipal Authority reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive any informality, or to accept any proposal deemed to be most favorable to the interests of the Authority.
