NOTICE – ADVERTISEMENT UPPER SOUTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP BUCKS COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA Proposals will be received by The Upper Southampton Township (Owner) via the PennBid website, (https://pennbid.procureware.com) for public bidding. Bids will be received electronically until 11:00 o’clock A.M., on the 25th day of March, 2021 at the PennBid website for the construction of: TAMANEND PARK TRAIL IMPROVEMENTS The work to be performed under this Contract consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, labor and supervision required for construction of the trail improvements through Tamanend Park as shown on the Contract Drawings and specified herein. Modifications include but are not limited to; construction of bituminous trail pavement; construction of a parking lot; drainage and grading; and all necessary appurtenant work and materials required to complete the work indicated. The successful Contractor must comply with the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry Prevailing Minimum Wage Determination as indicated in the Contract Documents. Plans and specifications are on file and open to public inspection at the Upper Southampton Township Office, 939 Street Road, Southampton PA 18966, telephone number 215-322-9700. Prospective bidders may procure copies of the plans, specifications and bid forms, as well as the names of those who have secured plans and specifications online at the PennBid website, (https://pennbid.procureware.com). Questions regarding this advertisement will only be accepted online via the PennBid website, https://pennbid.procureware.com until 11:00 o’clock A.M. on the 19th day of March, 2021. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same. Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bids within 30 days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. Upper Southampton Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or parts thereof, and to accept the bid that it deems, in its sole judgement, to be in the best interest of the Township.
