NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Irvine Unified School District of Orange County, California, acting by and through its Governing Board, hereinafter referred to as “District,” will receive up to, but not later than, the above-stated proposal deadline, sealed proposals at the place identified above for the award of a contract for RFP No. 21/22-01MO, Waste, Recycling & Organic Services.

Project documents will be available on April 22, 2021 as a download at
https://iusd.org/about/departments/business-services/purchasing/current-bids-rfps. Bidders will be responsible for reproducing all documents related to this RFP. It is each bidder’s sole responsibility to ensure its RFP is timely delivered and received at the location designated as specified above. Any RFPs received at the designated location after the scheduled closing time for receipt of RFPs shall be returned to the bidder unopened.

Questions regarding this RFP must be received via e-mail to the attention of Maria Ragas at MariaRagas@iusd.org by 10:00 am on May 4, 2021.

Time is of the essence. The District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any proposals or in the bidding process. The award of the Contract, if made by the District, will be by action of the Governing Board. No bidder may withdraw any proposal for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the date set for the opening of the proposals.
