NOTICE OF BID The Greater Hazleton Joint Sewer Authority (GHJSA) is seeking bids to furnish the following supplies for the period August 1, 2021 thru July 31, 2022. Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel Fuel, approximately 5,000 to 8,000 gallons, to be delivered to the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) located in Valmont Industrial Park at 500 Oscar Thomas Drive, West Hazleton, PA 18202 and/or remote pump stations or job sites within the service area in quantities ranging from 50 gallons to 500 gallons on demand. Bids may be firm or fluctuating. It is required the supplier provide written certification that all fuel meets the necessary specifications of Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel Fuel. It is also required the supplier guarantee delivery within 24 hours of delivery request. All bid prices shall be cost per gallon, F.O.B. delivered to the GHJSA facilities. Bids are to be addressed to the Greater Hazleton Joint Sewer Authority, P.O. Box 651, Hazleton, PA 18201 or delivered to the Authority’s office located in Valmont Industrial Park at 500 Oscar Thomas Drive, West Hazleton, PA 18202. Bid package shall be plainly marked “SEALED BID” for identification and must be in the hand of the Authority no later than 4:00 PM Monday, June 28, 2021. The GHJSA reserves the right to waive any informalities, defects, errors, or omissions in any or all Bids and to reject any or all Bids. The Bids shall be awarded to the lowest responsible bidders following review and recommendation by the Authority’s Engineer.
