NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Parks and Recreation for the Town of Chesterton, Indiana (“Town”) will receive Sealed Proposals (“Proposals”) from qualified firms (“Proposers”) to provide engineering services to the Town for the preparation of a new masterplan for Coffee Creek Park at 246 E. Morgan Avenue, Chesterton, Indiana, and the preparation of construction drawings and technical specifications for a new Coffee Creek overlook and new seating area at the east end of Indiana Avenue, as further described in the RFP. The Request for Proposals (“RFP”) can be obtained from the Town’s website(www.chestertonin.org) or the Town’s Engineer and is incorporated herein by reference. All Proposal must meet the Town’s terms and conditions set forth in the RFP.

As provided in the RFP, all Proposals shall be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly labeled with the name of the Proposer and labeled as “Proposal, Response to Town of Chesterton Request for Proposals, Engineering Services for Coffee Creek Park”, which shall be contained within an outer shipping envelope and received at:

Proposals are to be submitted no later than February 2, 2021 at 5:45 p.m., Central Time. Proposals must contain three (3) hard copies, and one (1) digital copy on a flash drive. Proposals received after the above-stated time and date will be returned to the sender unopened.

The Town reserves the right, in its sole and exclusive discretion, to reject any and all Proposals and/or waive minor discrepancies, omissions, variances, or irregularities in any Proposal, according to the terms of the RFP and applicable law, provided that the Town considers it is in the Town’s interest to do so.
