NOTICE Sealed bids will be received by Doylestown Township electronically through PennBidTM until 10:00 AM, prevailing time, on the 8th day of June 2021 with the result posted thereafter for the following: DOYLESTOWN TOWNSHIP 2021 ROAD PROGRAM CURB REPLACEMENT All documents and solicitation details are available and open to public inspection anytime at PennBidTM https://pennbid.procureware.com. Click on the “Solicitations” and “View” tabs. The bidder who is awarded the contract will be required to pay a fee to PennBidTM. The names of those who have secured plans/specifications may be obtained at PennBidTM. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. A performance bond or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder within 20 days after the contract is awarded. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the state where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same. This project involves replacement of existing 4-inch rolled curb and gutter with vertical curb; and, associated pavement restoration, inlet replacement and construction of driveway tie-ins. This project is subject to prevailing wage rates in accordance with Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. Prospective bidders must be pre-qualified with PennDOT in accordance with Section 102.01 of PennDOT Publication 408 Specifications, latest edition thereof. Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bid within SIXTY (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities, or to reject any or all bids.
