NOTICE TO BIDDER The Wyoming Valley Sanitary Authority, 1000 Wilkes-Barre Street, Hanover Township, PA 18706, will receive sealed proposals until 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud for the following project: HEADWORKS BLOWER BUILDING PROJECT #10-21 The purpose of this project is to demo the existing wood frame constructed Headworks Blower Building and replace it with a new metal frame and block constructed building. All work to be performed in accordance with WVSA Project Drawings and Specifications. The project will include but not be limited to the demo of existing structure, procurement and placing of CMU block and components, procurement of metal structural studs and components, trusses, purlins, exterior/interior panels, roof panels and components, personnel and overhead doors etc. followed by the construction of the new building. All Construction shop drawings, materials, labor, tools and equipment for the project shall be provided by the contractor. WVSA will not provide any Construction materials. WVSA will provide Engineering support, Quality Control and Construction Management. WVSA Electrical Department to be responsible for all electrical construction. Building nominal size is 15 feet wide x 20 feet long. Contract documents for this project, including technical specifications, drawings, instructions and proposal forms, may be obtained at the Administrative Offices of the Authority (Hanover Township Location) Monday thru Friday 8:00AM to 3:00PM, HOWEVER, DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC IT IS PREFERED THAT THE BID PACKAGE BE REQUESTED IN ELECTRONIC FORMAT. EMAIL Daniel Pace (daniel.pace@wvsa.net) TO REQUEST THE BID PACKAGE TO BE EMAILED TO YOU. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid, made payable to Wyoming Valley Sanitary Authority. At the option of the Bidder, the Bid Bond may be a certified check, bank draft, U.S. Government Bond (at par value) or a Bid Bond on the form provided in the contract documents. Wyoming Valley Sanitary Authority reserves the right to reject or accept any or all bids, and to waive any informalities, defects or irregularities, or any part or parts thereof. Prior to the opening of the Bids, a non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 02, 2021 at the PROJECT SITE at the Main Plant in Hanover Township, PA. The successful contractor will have sixty (60) days to complete the entire project after receipt of the Notice to Proceed from WVSA.
