NOTICE TO BIDDER The Wyoming Valley Sanitary Authority, 1000 Wilkes-Barre Street, Hanover Township, PA 18706, (Note: The plant entrance is via WVSA Drive, stop at guardhouse.) will receive hard copy sealed proposals until 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 3, 2023 at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud for the following project: COLLECTIONS GARAGE METAL RETRO-FIT EDPM RUBBER ROOF-OVER PROJECT PROJECT #06-23 This project includes, but is not limited to the retro-fit of the existing standing seam metal roof with a roof-over system utilizing a fully adhered EDPM Rubber Roof System including EPS insulation, HD cover board, perimeter wood blocking at rake & eaves, new metal gutters & downspouts, new metal fascia and all necessary appurtenances. There are NO Asbestos Containing Roof Materials (ACRM) present at any of the roofs included in this project. – The Collections Garage Roof is approx. 7,296 sq. ft. (Located at the WWTP, 1000 Wilkes-Barre Street, Hanover Township, PA 18706, enter at WVSA Drive Guardhouse) Contract documents for this project, including technical specifications, drawings, instructions and proposal forms, may be obtained at the Administrative Offices of the Authority (Hanover Township Location) Monday thru Friday 8:00AM to 3:00PM. Please reserve your hard copy of the bid documents one day before you plan on picking them up. The contract documents are available electronically as well. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid, made payable to Wyoming Valley Sanitary Authority. At the option of the Bidder, the Bid Bond may be a certified check, bank draft, U.S. Government Bond (at par value) or a Bid Bond on the form provided in the contract documents. Wyoming Valley Sanitary Authority reserves the right to reject or accept any or all bids, and to waive any informalities, defects or irregularities, or any part or parts thereof. Prior to the opening of the Bids, a non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, February 17, 2023 in the WVSA Board Meeting Room, 1000 Wilkes Barre Street. A site visit to the Collections Garage will take place immediately after the pre-bid conference. Contractors are urged to bring their own ladders to access the roofs. The successful contractor will have sixty (60) days to complete the entire project after receipt of the Notice to Proceed from WVSA.
