Project/Work: 2021 Phase III Board of Safety Demolition of Unsafe Structures Notice is hereby given that East Chicago Building Department will receive sealed bids for the above described 2021 Phase III Board of Safety Demolition of Unsafe Structures at City Hall, 4525 Indianapolis Boulevard, East Chicago, IN on July 28, 2021 up till 3pm and commencing as soon as practicable thereafter on the same date such bids will be publicly opened and awarded at the Board of Public Works Meeting at Council
Chambers, 2nd floor, 4525 Indianapolis Boulevard, East Chicago, Indiana July 28, 2021 at 4:30pm. No late bids will be accepted.
All vendors must be licensed to perform demolition work in East Chicago, Indiana.
The Work consists of, but is not necessarily limited to the following:
Removal of the following unsafe structures in East Chicago, Indiana
602 E 151st St (Garage Only)
417 E Chicago Ave (Garage Only)
3915 Main (Front and Rear)
1102 E 138th Place (Front)
505 143rd St (Garage Only)
(Please note all the above properties under Group 1 are located in the superfund area and must comply with the special project procedures provided by Amereco Inc.)
Contract Documents for the Project/Work have been assembled which, may be examined at City Hall, 4525 Indianapolis Boulevard, East Chicago, Indiana.
This Work will be funded by the City of East Chicago using its Unsafe Building Funds.
Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities and to accept the bid which it deems most favorable to the interest of the Owner after all bids have been examined and canvassed.
