NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Merrillville Community School Corporation, Merrillville, Indiana, will receive bids from contractors for HIGH SCHOOL SECURE ENTRY located at 276 E 68th Pl, Merrillville, IN 46410. The Owner intends to enter into one contract with the General Contractor that submitted the lowest responsive and responsible bid and who will be fully responsible for coordination of all required work between all trades. Bids must be mailed or delivered in person to the Administration Building 6701 Delaware St, Merrillville, IN 46410. All bids must be sealed in envelopes, plainly labeled “HIGH SCHOOL SECURE ENTRY” Attn: Gregory Griffith Care of MHS Bids and must be received prior to 9:00 A.M., local time, on May 18, 2021. Public bid opening immediately following. Bids received after the submittal deadline will not be considered and will be returned unopened. An optional Prebid meeting will be held at 9:00 A.M., local time, on May 11, 2021 at Merrillville High School located at 76 E 68th Pl, Merrillville, IN 46410. Bidding Documents may be viewed via the school’s website www.mvsc.k12.in.us/bid or the Architects website www.gmb.com under “Bid Sets”. The Bidding Documents may also be viewed by the public at the following location: The Administration Building 6701 Delaware St, Merrillville, IN 46410. The owner reserves the right to reject all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities in the bid.
