NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Notice is hereby given that the Chesterton Town Council will receive sealed bids at the Office of the Chesterton Clerk-Treasurer up to 7:00 pm (prevailing local time) on February 8th, 2021 for the furnishing and application of Hot Mastic Asphalt (HMA) for Dickinson Road (from 1300ft south of Porter Avenue to CR 1100N) and Rail Road (from 460ft west of Dickinson Road to CR 100 E). Sealed bids must be submitted to the Office of the Chesterton Clerk-Treasurer at 1490 Broadway, Chesterton, Indiana 46304. The Bids will be opened at the Chesterton Town Council Meeting which begins at 7:00 p.m. on February 8th, 2021 at 726 Broadway, Chesterton, Indiana 46304.

The bids must include all labor, tool, and equipment necessary to the construction of the above-referenced project. Any bids submitted late will be returned to the Bidder unopened. Technical specifications and all bid documents for this project are on file for review in the Office of the Chesterton Clerk-Treasurer, 1490 Broadway, Chesterton, Indiana 46304.

All bids shall be submitted on the Town of Chestertons Bid Form and shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cashiers or certified check payable to the Town of Chesterton in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid amount.

The Chesterton Town Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive minor defects in bids, or to re-advertise for bids.
