NOTICE TO BIDDERS Sealed bids will be received by the Ryan Township Supervisors, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania for the 2021 Road Improvement Project. Bids will be accepted at the office of the Project Engineer, ARRO Consulting, Inc., 1239 Centre Turnpike, Orwigsburg, PA 17961, until 4:00 PM, July 12, 2021. Bids will be opened and read aloud at the regular meeting of the Ryan Township Supervisors on July 12, 2021 at 7:00 pm at the Ryan Township Municipal Building (36 N. 5th Avenue, Barnesville, PA 18214). Contract Documents for the work may be obtained free of charge from the office of the Engineer, ARRO Consulting, Inc., by calling (570) 366-9534 during regular business hours or via email request to traci.firing@arroconsulting.com Bids for this Contract shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid. All Bids shall be effective for sixty (60) calendar days. The Work must be complete and in place prior to October 22, 2021. The Work generally consists of furnishing all equipment, labor and materials for, but not necessarily limited to, the following: Milled paving notches/transitions, 19MM structural leveling, 9.5 MM leveling course and 9.5MM overlay. The work location is more specifically identified in the project manual. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond, and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. All work must conform to the most recent edition of PennDOT Publication 408 unless otherwise specified. The Ryan Township Supervisors reserve the right to reject any or all Bids or portions thereof, and to accept any Bid, or portion of Bid, which in its judgment is in the best interest of the Township. Ryan Township and their representatives are not responsible for bids mailed but not received. All BIDS shall be sealed and marked as identified in the project documents.
