NOTICE TO BIDDERS The Board of Education of the Darien Public School District, Darien, CT, hereby invites the submission of sealed bids from reputable and qualified contractors for the provision of labor and materials for the following contract in the schools of the School District: Bid #F2021-1: 35 Leroy Avenue Copy Center September 30, 2021 2:00 P.M. Bids for Bid #F2021-1: 35 Leroy Avenue Copy Center dated September 30, 2021 will be received until the above stated hour of prevailing time and date at the Facilities Office, 35 Leroy Avenue, Darien, CT, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened. Specifications and bid forms may be obtained online at: www.darienps.org, click on Departments, Click on Business and Operations, click on Request for Proposal/Bids, this bid will be available to download. Bids must be presented on the proposal form in the manner designated therein and as required by the Specifications. All bids must be enclosed in sealed envelopes which are clearly marked on the outside: Bid #2021-1: 35 Leroy Avenue Copy Center Bids shall remain firm for a period of forty-five (45) days following the date of the bid opening. Darien Public Schools reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all bids, or to accept that bid which, in the Board of Education’s judgment, is in the best interest of the School District. Walk thru will be held on Thursday, September 23 at 10:00. We will meet in the lobby of 35 Leroy Avenue. Darien Public Schools reserves the right to consider experience, service and reputation in the above-referenced fields. In addition, the Darien Public Schools reserves the right to consider the financial responsibility and specific qualifications, as set out herein, of the prospective bidder in its evaluation of the bids and award of the contracts.
