NOTICE TO BIDDERS The Warwick Township Water & Sewer Authority herewith solicits proposals to supply the following chemical to be used in wastewater treatment, over a period of one (1) year from the date of award of bid. Ferric Chloride, chemical formula Fecl3, chemical name and synonyms Iron Chloride Solution 37-42 per cent solution to be delivered in bulk to two separate locations with a combined minimum quantity of 1,000 gallons. Specific Gravity 1.38-1.49 Insolubles – .5% maximum All equipment necessary for the safe delivery of the product is the responsibility of the bidder. Weigh tickets are to be supplied to the Authority before and after each delivery. Product to be invoiced, and bid documents to be quoted by dry chemical weight. Material delivered should be dioxin free. Sealed bids are due at the Authority’s office by Thursday, April 22, 2021 before 3:00 p.m. The bids will be opened and read aloud following the 3:00 p.m. deadline and will be presented to the Authority Board of Directors at the public meeting of the Authority April 26, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. Sealed proposals may be submitted by mail to the Warwick Township Water and Sewer Authority, P.O. Box 315, Jamison PA 18929 or by hand delivery to the Authority offices, 1733 Township Greene, Warwick Township, Bucks County. Proposal envelope should be marked as “Wastewater Treatment Chemicals Ferric Chloride Bid”. The Warwick Township Water and Sewer Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any irregularities and accept such bids as it considers to be in the best interest of the Authority.
