NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS DEPARTMENT: The Commonwealth of Massachusetts, University of Massachusetts Lowell will receive sealed proposals: Title: Sprinkler – Fire Protection Inspection Testing & Maintenance CL-22-JL-000. Scope- Sprinkler – Fire Protection Inspection Testing & Maintenance. Estimated Cost: $70,000.00. Sealed bids for the General Contract submitted on a form furnished by the Awarding Authority will be received no later than 2:00 P.M. on 09/29/2021. Each general bid proposal must be secured by an accompanying deposit of 5% of total bid amount in the form of a bid bond or certified or treasurer’s or cashier’s check issued by a responsible bank or trust company payable to the University of Massachusetts Lowell. This project is being electronically bid hard copy bids will not be accepted. All bids for this project are subject to the provisions of either or both Mass. G.L., Chapter 30, Section 39M as amended and Mass. G.L., Chapter 149, Section 44A – 44J inclusive. Attention is directed to the minimum wage rates to be paid on the work as determined by the Commissioner of Labor and Industries under the provisions of Mass.
