Portage Township School – Erate – Category 2
INVITATION TO BID
Notice is hereby given that Portage Township Schools (PTS) is seeking proposals for a project to supply and optionally install network equipment at its eligible locations. Bidders are advised that this
project will be contingent upon the successful obtaining of Category 2 E-Rate funding, and the contract agreement between the district and the successful bidder must recognize that contingency.
All bids will be received by email to Attorney Ken Elwood
(kenelwood@rhameandelwood.com), attorney for the District, and carbon-copied to dan@adtecerate.com at or before 10:00 AM Central time on March 1, 2023. Emails containing bids shall be plainly marked Bids: C2 Network Equipment. Any proposal received after the due date and time will not be considered. The inbox receipt time shall determine when a bid is received. Bids will be opened and tabulated at that hour at the Administration Office for Portage Township Schools at 6240 U.S. Highway 6, Portage, Indiana 46368.

The Board of School Trustees of Portage Township Schools reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive informalities, irregularities, and errors in the bidding to the extent permitted by law. This includes the right to extend the date and time for receipt of bids. In the event that a responsible bid is not received or if it is determined that the low bid received is too high, the bid received will be rejected and the project will be cancelled or re-bid. Bids may not be withdrawn during the sixty (60) day period immediately following the date of receipt of the bids without the consent of the District.
