Sealed proposals will be received by Grayson College, at the following location 6101 Grayson Drive, Denison, Texas. Proposals received after proposal date and time will not be accepted. All interested parties are invited to attend. Proposals will be opened publicly and read aloud.

SELECTION CRITERIA: In accordance with Texas Education Code as amended, Grayson College shall evaluate all proposals based on a combination of factors that the district determines provides the best value to the District including:
a. Price; (45)
b. Proposer’s experience (years as an installer) and reputation for quality of work; (17.5)
c. Proposer’s proven past performance and quality of work with references of like-sized projects; (17.5)
d. Conformance with proposed contract document requirements; (10)
e. Proposed warranty coverage; (5)
f. Attendance at the pre-proposal conference; (5)

The Contractor shall be in the prime business as mechanical/general contractor and shall have been in business seven continuous years under the company submitting a proposal on this project. Specific related mechanical experience is required. All Proposers shall visit the job site before submitting proposal.

The successful proposer shall be required to provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond. The Bid Security will not be returned until these bonds are provided.
