ADVERTISEMENT OF BID PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by Cooper’s Ferry Partnership (CFP) n/k/a Camden Community Partnership, for the 7TH STREET GATEWAY STREETSCAPE ENHANCEMENT PROJECT in the City of Camden, Camden County, New Jersey. Electronic (pdf) versions of the bidding and contract documents, project drawings, and specifications can be obtained through the offices of Traffic Planning and Design, Inc., Attention Chris Wachter, Telephone (856) 966-4242, CWachter@trafficpd.com. Any questions shall be submitted in writing as “Requests for Interpretationâ€? via email only to Chris Wachter by no later than August 2 nd , 2021 at 5:00 PM. The Bidding Documents may only be modified by Addendum issued prior to the Bid Opening date. One original and two copies of said bids must be enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the name, address, and contact person of the bidder on the outside and also bearing on the outside reference to the particular work bid upon. Said bids shall be submitted no later than August 18 th , 2021 at 11:00 AM, prevailing time, and addressed to Ms. Kathy Cullen, Cooper’s Ferry Partnership, One Port Center, 2 Riverside Drive, Suite 501, Camden, New Jersey 08103. The August 18, 2021 bid opening will be available remotely via Zoom. NO BIDS ARE TO BE DROPPED OFF AT TRAFFIC, PLANNING & DESIGN, INC. CFP encourages prospective bidders to deliver their bids before the designated date and time of the opening via certified mail or overnight delivery carrier. Bids may not be emailed, faxed or transmitted over the phone. CFP reserves the right to consider the bids for sixty (60) days after the receipt thereof, and further reserves the right to reject any or all bids, either in whole or in part and also to waive any informality in any and make such awards or take action as may be in the best interest of the CFP. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check or bid bond duly executed by the bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company approved by CFP in an amount not less than ten percent (10% of Base Bid) but in no case in excess of $20,000.00 of the amount bid together with a non-collusion affidavit. Bids will not be received after the time specified for the opening of the bids. CFP will deem bids received after the hour appointed invalid and return unopened to the Bidder. All Bidders must comply with the mandatory requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-3.1 et seq. (P.L. 1975, c. 127) and N.J.A.C. 17:27 regarding Affirmative Action responsibilities of contractors. This proposal is being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance with the N.J.S.A. 19:44a-20.5 et seq.  CFP reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any and all bids.
