PUBLIC NOTICE HAZLETON ZONING BOARD NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE ZONING HEARING BOARD OF HAZLETON A public hearing will be held at Hazleton City Hall, Council Chamber, 2nd floor, 40 North Church St., Hazleton Pa, Thursday, February 16, 2023, at 6:30 pm. (handicap accessible). The Hazleton Zoning Hearing Board will take testimony, evidence, and make decision on the following appeals: 1) Application ZA-340-22 of Waldin Collado Santos for the property located at 872 Penn Court, Hazleton Pa, in a R-2 (Medium Density Residential) district for a variance for addition of two apartments to an existing building. 2) Application ZA-335-22 of Edickson Rodriguez for the property located at 92-94 North Wyoming St., Hazleton Pa. in a CC (Central Commercial) district for a variance for one parallel billboard sign. 3) Application ZA-373-22 of Jose Saldana for the property located at 229 East Broad St., Hazleton, Pa., in a CC (Central Commercial) district for a special exception for propose of five units by adding two apartments. This appeal is also for a variance for parking spaces for both the commercial and residential units. 4) Application ZA-288-22 of Ricardo Nunez for the property located at 561 Garfield St., Hazleton, Pa, in a R-2 (Medium Density Residential) district for a variance for addition of 5Th apartment. 5) Application ZA-318-22 of Maple Hazleton Properties LLC., for the property owned by Mark Laputka, located in CH (Central Highway) district at 65 North Cedar St., Hazleton Pa., for the review of the zoning decision for placement containers three (3) ft from rear yard property line. This is a continued hearing. 6) Application ZA-378-22 of Zain Rouzani for the property located at 815 West Dimond Ave., in a R-3 (High Density Residential) district for addition of three apartments to a two units apartment building. ANY AND ALL DOCUMENTS are available for review and inspection at Hazleton City Hall during regular business hours with the Hazleton Zoning Officer. ALL INTERESTED PERSONS OR PROTESTERS MAY APPEAR AT THE AFOREMENTIONED HEARINGS TO PRESENT ANY AND ALL TESTIMONY AND EVIDENCE IN SUPPORT OR OPPOSITION TO ANY OR ALL OF THE ZONING APPEALS.
