PUBLIC NOTICE INVITATION FOR BIDS Newmarket Housing Authority invites contractors to bid on the Great Hill Terrace Piping Replacement and Renovation Project at 34 Gordon Ave, Newmarket, NH. All bid proposals will be opened and read publicly at the offices of Newmarket Housing Authority. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Faxed and/or emailed bids will not be accepted. Complete bidder instructions with submission requirements are included in the project manual “Invitation to Bid” Bids received not meeting these requirements will not be accepted. General Contractor and Sub Contractor bids accepted. The project consists of, but is not limited to, the removal and replacement of roofing, the removal and replacement of copper piping to PEX for cold water, hot water, and heating pipes, rehab of rear entrances to meet ADA compliance, replacement of kitchen cabinets and countertops, and installation of a school bus stop. 1. A 100% Payment and Performance Bond and 5% Bid Bond will be required. 2. This project is funded through the Community Development Finance Authority under the provisions, and subject to Community Development Block Grant requirements under Title 1 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974. Federal compliance requirements include Equal Employment Opportunity, Civil Rights, Affirmative Action, DAVIS-BACON WAGE RATES (Residential Rockingham). 3. No Bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the opening of bids without consent of the Owner A Pre-bid walk-through is scheduled for this project on 08/03/2021 at 1:00 pm at 34 Gordon Ave, Newmarket.
