PUBLIC NOTICE INVITATION TO BID Sealed proposals will be received by Sugarloaf Township, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania until Tuesday, September 14th, 2021 at 7:00 PM for Excavation and Paving for the New Sugarloaf Police Department Parking Lot. Bid documents, including copies of the plans and specifications for the project can be obtained at the Sugarloaf Township Municipal Office at 858 Main Street in Sugarloaf Pa. between the hours of 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM Monday through Friday or by calling 570-788-3575. Bidders’ certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the contract price must accompany the bid. Prior to the execution of the contract, the successful bidder shall furnish the Township with a performance bond executed by a satisfactory surety, equal to 100% of the total contract amount. The successful applicant must provide proof of liability insurance. Prevailing minimum wage will apply to this project. Bids will be opened at the Regular Supervisors Meeting to be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 7:00 PM at the Sugarloaf Township Municipal Building, 858 Main Street, Sugarloaf, Pa. 18249.
