PUBLIC NOTICE INVITATION TO BID Sugarloaf Township, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, will accept Sealed Bids for the construction of an interior stairwell addition to the new Sugarloaf Township Police Station Building until Tuesday May 11, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. Copies of the full plans and specifications for the new stairwell to be constructed are available at the Township Municipal Building, 858 Main Street, Sugarloaf, PA 18249 or by calling (570) 788-3575 between the hours of 8:00 am and 3:00 pm. Prevailing minimum wage will apply to this project. Bids will be opened at the regular meeting of the Township Supervisors to be held at 7:00 p.m. on May 11th, 2021 at the Sugarloaf Township Municipal Building. Bidders’ certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the contract price should accompany the bid. Prior to the execution of the contract, the successful bidder shall furnish the Township with a performance bond executed by a satisfactory surety, equal to 100% of the total contract amount. The successful applicant must provide proof of liability insurance. The Township reserves the right to reject any and all Bids as well as waive any irregularities.
