PUBLIC NOTICE MIDDLE SMITHFIELD TOWNSHIP INVITATION TO BID Sealed proposals will be received by the Township of Middle Smithfield of County of Monroe at 147 Municipal Drive, East Stroudsburg PA 18302 until 3:30 p.m. May 13, 2021, for Superpave materials, as described below. Bids will be opened and read at the Board of Supervisors meeting, at the same location, on May 13, 2021 at 7 p.m. The Board of Supervisors tentatively expects to award a contact at the same meeting, or publicly announce the date of the next meeting it intends to consider award of the contract. Bid specifications are available at the Township office. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Municipality. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid. The successful bidder shall deliver to the Township, within 20 days of notice of the contract award, a performance bond in the amount of 100% of the bid.
