PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE TO BIDDERS SEALED PROPOSALS will be accepted by the Tobyhanna Township Board of Supervisors until 1 p.m Thursday, April 29, 2021 at the Tobyhanna Township Municipal Building, 105 Government Center Way, Pocono Pines, Pennsylvania, 18350 for the following: The 2021 Road Paving Base Bid Proposal for paving various roads located within Tobyhanna Township, Monroe County will generally consist of the following including other incidental items: 3,700 Tons of 9.5MM Superpave Asphalt, 180 lb/sy Wearing Course 2,400 Tons of 9.5MM Superpave Asphalt, 120 lb/sy Scratch Course 170 Tons of 19MM Superpave Asphalt, 300 lb/sy Leveling Course 1,700 Tons of PennDOT 2A Stone Shoulders 17,400 LF of 4″ Double Yellow Center Lines with Glass Beads 26,000 LF of 4″ Single White Edge Lines with Glass Beads 436 SY of Flexible Pavement Base Repairs All materials must meet current PennDOT Publication 408 Specifications and Standards. Bidders must be PennDOT prequalified and must supply proof of prequalification. Proposals must be on forms provided by the Township.
