PUBLIC NOTICE TO BIDDERS Sealed proposals will be received by the Ross Township Board of Supervisors until 9:00am April 6, 2021, for asphalt resurfacing work on 2 township roadways. Specifications can be obtained by first calling 570-256-3703, Mon-Thurs 8:00am – 1:00pm. Bids will be opened at the April 6, 2021 meeting of the supervisors at 9:00am, 72 Broadway Road, Sweet Valley. Item 1: Resurface entire length of Updyke Road (TR674), an approximate of 3,156 feet. 6450 SY section with binder course and 6494 SY of wearing course which includes 1 intersection as well as three driveway adjustments. Resurface approximately 138 SY of swale gutter on one side of roadway. Item 2: Resurface an approximate 1,947 feet (4,391 SY) section of Bear Swamp Road (TR660) with binder course, and resurface approximately 2,727 feet (6,150 SY) section of Bear Swamp Road with wearing course. No intersection included. Item resurfacing specifications are listed in contract. The Labor Standards, Wage Determination Decision and Anti-Kickback regulations (29CFR, Part 3) issued by the Secretary of Labor are included in the contract documents of this project and govern all work under the contracts. Attention is called to Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, 12 USC 179 LU and Section 3 clause and regulations set forth in 24 CFR.Part 135.
