PUBLIC NOTICE TOWN OF STAFFORD WATER POLLUTION CONTROL AUTHORITY STAFFORD, CONNECTICUT ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed Bids for the construction of the “Town of Stafford WPCA, 2021 Sewer Mains CIPP Project” will be received by the Water Pollution Control Authority at 50 River Road, PO Box 101, Stafford Springs, CT 06076 until 2:00 p.m. local time on August 4, 2021 at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. Sealed Bids must have outer envelope marked as “Town of Stafford WPCA, 2021 Sewer Mains CIPP Project.” The work consists of cured-in-place pipe lining of approximately 770 linear feet of 10-inch diameter vitrified clay sewer main, approximately 940 linear feet of 12-inch diameter vitrified clay sewer main and 175 linear feet of 15-inch diameter cement sewer main. The work also includes temporary bypass pumping, testing of the bypass piping, and site restoration. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Form. Copies of the Bid Documents may be obtained by emailing DPC Engineering, LLC, at bidding@dpcengineering.com. Questions should also be directed to this location. Bid Document packages will be emailed to vendors upon request. Addenda will be emailed to registered plan holders. Failure to not acknowledge addenda may result in a bid rejection. A bid deposit shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Project is subject to the prevailing wage laws under Connecticut General Statutes (CGS) 31-53 and 31-53a and is subject to prevailing wage rates as determined by the Connecticut Department of Labor Commissioner. It is the responsibility of the Contractor, before Bid opening, to request if necessary, any additional information on Minimum Wage Rates for those trades people who may be employed for the proposed Work under this Contract.
