REQUEST FOR BIDS Sealed proposals will be received by the Moon Township Recreation Authority, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania through the Quest Construction Data Network (QuestCDN) at www.questcdn.com until 11:00 AM prevailing time on April 14, 2021, for: MOON GOLF CLUB STORAGE BUILDING Contract No. 21-GC1 – Site Work: The scope of work includes site preparation; bituminous parking area; new stormwater basin, 6? perforated underdrain, 15? CPP, inlets, manhole and outlet structure; sanitary, water and gas services; and erosion and sedimentation controls. Contract No. 21-GC2 – General: The scope of work construction of 5,000 SF wood framed storage building including offices, restrooms and mezzanine; foundations; concrete slab; windows and doors; pre-engineered wood trusses; standing seam roof panels; downspouts; and gutters. Contract No. 21-GC3 – Plumbing: The scope of work including installation of floor drains and associated piping; oil/water separator; interior waterline, plumbing fixtures, sanitary sewer and gas lines. Contract No. 21-GC4 – Electrical: The scope of work generally includes new distribution panel, wiring of facility, LED interior and exterior lighting, emergency lighting, and receptacles. Contract No. 21-GC5 – Mechanical: The scope of work generally includes gas fired unit heaters, electric baseboards, and exhaust fans. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. Attention is directed to the fact that procurement is subject to all requirements of the Pennsylvania “Steel Products Procurement Act, Act No. 1978-3”; and for Contract value exceeding $25,000, the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act of 1961 P.L. 987), and The Public Works Employment Verification Act (July 2012) apply.
