REQUEST FOR BIDS Sealed proposals will be received by Patterson Township, Beaver County, Pennsylvania through the Quest Construction Data Network (Quest) at www.questcdn.com until 7:00 PM on April 14, 2022 for: CONTRACT NO. 22-R01 2022 ROADWAY IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (LIQUID FUELS) The scope of work includes approximately 7,200 square yards of roadway milling and profiling, Superpave WMA binder course, and Superpave WMA wearing course; base repair; bituminous wedge curb; structure adjustments to grade; traffic control; add alternates for additional square yards of resurfacing; and all necessary appurtenances and restoration for said construction on various roadways in the Township. All work shall be constructed according to drawings and specifications which are on file at the office of the Owner and Lennon, Smith, Souleret Engineering, Inc.; 846 Fourth Avenue; Coraopolis, Pennsylvania 15108-1522. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud approximately at 7:00 PM on April 14, 2022 at the Township Office. All bidders are required to buy the Bid Documents in PDF format for a non-refundable deposit of $100.00 from Quest at www.questcdn.com using the following project number is 8159939. Any technical questions regarding the bid documents are to be directed to LSSE. Pennsylvania prevailing wage rates apply. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Borough. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to Patterson Township. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. Attention is directed to the fact that procurement is subject to all requirements of the Pennsylvania “Steel Products Procurement Act, Act No. 1978-3”; and for Contract value exceeding $25,000, the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act of 1961 P.L. 987), and The Public Works Employment Verification Act (July 2012) apply.
