REQUEST FOR BIDS The Housing Authority of Northumberland County will receive sealed bids from bona-fide bidders for single Prime Contract for General Construction for Parking Lot Repair at the Mount Carmel Office and Milton Tower, Milton, Pennsylvania. Work will be subject to prevailing wage. Bid Proposals will be received at the Office of the Housing Authority of Northumberland County, 50 Mahoning St., Milton, PA 17847 until 2:00 P.M., prevailing time, Tuesday, February 21, 2023. Proposals will be opened publicly and read aloud immediately thereafter. Bids received after the stated due date and time will not be accepted. Bids are expected to be awarded at the regularly scheduled Northumberland County Housing Authority meeting, slated to be held at the end of February. Each Prime Contract Bidder may secure copies of the Bid Documents from the Architect, Strosser Baer Architects, by calling 570-286-2526. Prime bidders must submit documentary evidence of minority and women business enterprises who have been contacted and to whom commitments have been made. Documentation of employment opportunities as well as contract solicitations and commitments shall be submitted concurrently with the bid. Bidders must also submit documentary evidence of Section 3 business concerns who have been contacted and to whom commitments have been made. Documentation of such solicitations and commitments shall be submitted with the bid. Mandatory Pre-bid: All prime contractors intending to place a Bid Proposal are required to attend a pre-bid meeting to be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at 11:00 A.M., prevailing time, in the community room of Milton Towers – 50 Mahoning Street, Milton, PA 17847. Rain or shine. The Mount Carmel Office parking lot shall be visited by the contractors at their discretion.
