REQUEST FOR BIDS The Scranton School District will receive sealed bids for the Scranton High School STEMM Academy Phase 2 Renovations Project in the form of MULTIPLE Prime Lump Sum Contracts. Contract 1: General Construction Contract 2: Mechanical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection Construction Contract 3: Electrical Construction Bids shall be submitted in PDF format to bids@dhuy.com no later than 10:00 AM prevailing time on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at which time bids will be publicly opened and read live through Zoom. The Owners Representative and Project Engineer, D’Huy Engineering, Inc., will provide Project details at this meeting. Non-attendees will not be permitted to bid. Electronic Contract Documents: In order to Bid the Project, prospective Bidders must obtain Bid/Contract Documents in electronic format (PDF) via e-mailed link upon request to D’Huy Engineering, Inc., (dei@dhuy.com) 1 East Broad Street, Suite 310, Bethlehem, PA 18018, and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Fifty Dollars ($50.00). Checks shall be made payable to “D’Huy Engineering, Inc.” Documents will be sent electronically after receipt of payment. Bidders must supply the following information with their request for documents: Company name, contact person, complete address, phone and cellular numbers, and email address. Documents will be available on February 21, 2023. This Project is subject to the Federal Davis-Bacon Act, Approved March 3, 1931, 40 U.S.C. §3141-3148, as amended and supplemented, and reference is made to the wage rates applicable to this Project.
