REQUEST FOR BIDS The Tunkhannock Area School District will receive sealed bids for the following individual Projects in the form of SINGLE prime lump sum contracts. Bids shall be submitted in PDF format to bids@dhuy.com no later than 10:00 AM prevailing time on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at which time bids will be publicly opened and read through live through Zoom. The Bid Openings may be accessed from the following link: https://us06web.zoom.us/j/81926349276?pwd=VGhrZmRlTTd JV1pMSzRUNEhwVG96UT09 A MANDATORY pre-bid conference will be conducted on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at 3:30 PM at Tunkhannock Area High School Main Office, 135 Tiger Drive, Tunkhannock, PA 18657. Representatives of the Owner and Project Engineer (D’Huy Engineering, Inc.) will provide details of the Project at this meeting. Non-attendees will not be permitted to bid. Electronic Contract Documents: In order to Bid the Project(s), prospective bidders must obtain Bid/Contract Documents in electronic format (PDF) via e-mailed link upon request to D’Huy Engineering, Inc., 1 East Broad Street, Suite 310, Bethlehem, PA 18018, 610-865-3000, and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Fifty Dollars ($50.00). Checks shall be made payable to “D’Huy Engineering, Inc.” Documents will be sent electronically after receipt of payment. Bidders must supply the following information with their request for documents: Which Project you are bidding, company name, contact person, complete address, phone and fax numbers, and email address. Documents will be available on January 31, 2023. This Project is subject to the Federal Davis-Bacon Act, Approved March 3, 1931, 40 U.S.C. §3141-3148, as amended and supplemented, and reference is made to the wage rates applicable to this Project. Bids shall conform to all requirements as more fully set forth in the Contract Documents, including, interalia, compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
