Request for Quotes Flooring Replacement at two of Family Centers’ Preschools Quotes will be received by Family Centers Inc., Greenwich, CT for a contract to install flooring at the Grauer Preschool, 40 Arch Street, Greenwich, CT and at Gateway Preschool, 2 Chapel St., Greenwich, CT. Quotes will be received, by mail or hand delivery until 1:00 p.m., Monday, September 13, 2021, at the office of Family Centers Inc., 40 Arch Street, Greenwich, CT 06830. Quotes received after the deadline will be rejected. Quotes will be reviewed following the deadline and the results will be announced after review. Those interested in submitting a quote may schedule a site visit with the owner to see Grauer Preschool, 40 Arch Street, Greenwich CT and Gateway Preschool, 2 Chapel Street, Greenwich CT. Quotes must include a detailed proposal including detailed costs and a completed Statement of the Qualifications of the company submitting a quote. Work to be performed under this contract is funded by Federal monies through Community Development Block Grant program of the Town of Greenwich and is subject to the Davis-Bacon Act in compliance with certain local and federal requirements. Payroll documentation of compliance is required. Pursuant to Connecticut General Statutes § 12-403, An Act Concerning Sales Tax Bond Requirements For Nonresident Contractors, a nonresident contractor shall furnish the Department of Revenue Services (DRS) a guarantee bond for 5% of the total contact price using Form AU-766. Family Centers reserves the right to re-bid the project should all bids exceed the projected budget by more than 10%.
