REQUEST FOR SEALED PROPOSALS DUE September 17, 2021 The Board of Library Trustees, Hampstead NH is seeking proposals for new carpeting and tile for the Hampstead Public Library. Sealed proposals will be accepted at the Hampstead Public Library, 9 Mary E. Clark Drive, Hampstead NH 03841 until 5:00 PM on Friday, September 17, 2021 and should be clearly marked “Sealed Proposal for Library Carpeting”. 1. Replace carpeting on the second floor of the Library. This includes small conference room, 2 small study rooms, 1 office and a large meeting room. 2. Carpeted areas to use Core Elements carpet tile, or equivalent quality, color TDB by Library Staff. 3. Order extra carpet tiles to use as replacements in the future to ensure continuity. 4. Small area of meeting room, kitchen, 3 restrooms, with vinyl tile flooring to be replaced by Luxury Vinyl Plank. 5. All Cove Base to be replaced or added as necessary with 4-inch vinyl cove base, color TBD by Library Staff. 6. Remove and Replace approximately 25 pieces of movable (tables, desks, bookcases) furniture (Library shelving to remain in place). 7. Removal from floor and premises of old tile and carpeting. It will be each bidder’s responsibility to visit the site before submitting a proposal to the Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees reserves the right to accept or waive any informality or reject any or all proposals as they see fit. The firm submitting a proposal agrees to provide general liability insurance covering the Town of Hampstead in the amount of $1,000,000 and a certificate to that effect prior to commencing any work project, and all applicable employee insurance coverage including Workman’s Compensation as required by the State of New Hampshire.
