HOUSTON, TEXAS – Satterfield & Pontikes Construction Inc.(www.satpon.com) (S&P), a leading construction company in the U.S., has announced its purchase of Dallas/ Fort Worth-based Eagle Contracting, LP, a well-known general contractor specializing in the water and wastewater business.
The merger of the two privately held companies strengthens S&P’s growing construction specialist portfolio and contributes to the company’s geographic expansion in Texas and beyond. The move strengthens an already prominent portfolio of infrastructure related projects positioning itself well for future public contracting work.
Eagle was founded in 1987 and has consistently been rated as a top environmental contractor in the United States. Eagle will retain its name, and President Roy Ewen and Vice President Billy Haynes will retain their current positions.
Both will become members of the S&P Executive Team. No operational changes are planned for the 34-year-old, 150-employee company headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas.
