Sealed Bids

INVITATION TO BID Sealed bids will be received for the following items of work in Mount Pleasant Township, Adams County (contracting owner). Bids to be received by 10:00 AM (prevailing time) Wednesday, April 21, 2021 opened and read at approximately the same time, same date by the Municipality’s designee at their building, 1035 Beck Road, Gettysburg, PA 17325. The location of the work varies. Work generally consists of the following: all quantities are m : Furnish labor and materials required to complete in place; double seal coat CRS-2PM (52,541 s.y.) in accordance with PennDOT No. 8 Publication 408 as amended, plus polymerized fog seal. Bid as total bid with combined bid items. “Polymer Modified Cationic Fog Seal” is a PennDOT spec. product. ADT – 100-500. Township to supply all AASHTO No. 8 aggregate associated with this work. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Municipality. Contact office to receive forms. Telephone: 717-624-8049. Bidder is required to review proposed project with Municipality’s representative prior to bidding. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to the Municipality. Road supplies must meet PennDOT specifications, as appropriate. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Notice is hereby given to Bidders that work under this contract is considered maintenance and therefore not subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, 1961 P.L. 987.
