SECTION 000110 – DRAFT – INVITATION TO BID The (Owner) Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe will accept sealed bids from qualified General Contractors for the Construction of its new Childcare Center, Phase I Site Development Project, located at Meetinghouse Road, Mashpee, Massachusetts 02649. Project Description: This Phase 1 Site Development project scope consists of creating a 42,000± sf area with a “Pad Ready” development to support the future construction of a proposed Childcare Center. Phase 1 scope of services includes, but is not limited to: Site Clearing, Grubbing, Rough grading, Installation of all storm water management systems, Installation of all underground utilities (i.e.: water, sewer, gas, electric and telecom) to within 10′ of the proposed building, Final site grading and Installation of proposed parking lot binder course. Refer to the enclosed Phase 1 Site Plan set for further detail. Construction must begin immediately upon awarding of the contract. Bids will be received until September 30, 2021 at 2:00 pm, EDT via one of the following methods. Mailed bids are the preferred method of delivery. a) Sealed bids may be shipped to: The Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe Government and Community Center 483 Great Neck Road South Mashpee, MA 02649 Attn: Roxanne Mills Brown b) Sealed bids may hand delivered on September 30, 2021 between the hours of 12:00 – 2:00 pm, EST to: The Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe Government and Community Center 483 Great Neck Road South Mashpee, MA 02649 Attn: Roxanne Mills Brown Bid opening will be in-person on September 30, 2021 at 2:30 pm EST A letter of intent is anticipated to be provided within 3 days after award of bid. Construction start is expected October 2021 Substantial Completion is proposed (tentative) November 30, 2021 Contractor needs to be familiar with procedures required for the purchase of material and equipment for tax exempt entities and TERO procedures. The bid will be for: Stipulated Sum as described, as called for in the specifications, indicated on the Drawings, or as reasonably inferable from either or both, including allowances as described herein.
