STAMFORD CENTER FOR THE ARTS INVITATION TO BID The Stamford Center for the Arts will receive sealed bids until 2:00 PM, prevailing local time on Wednesday September 9, 2020 at, the Stamford Center for the Arts office of the President & CEO, 61 Atlantic Street, Stamford, CT 06901 for the Partial Roof Replacement for Rich Forum. Work generally includes the removal of existing ballasted EPDM roof system down to the existing metal roof deck and the installation of a new 20 year EPDM roof system of approximately 20,733 sq. ft. All interested parties are requested to e-mail Thomas Hibbard, Architect, by close of business on Wednesday August 26, 2020 and request invitation to a zoom meeting to be held at 10:00 AM on Friday August 28, 2020 to review the project scope of work. Digital copies of the construction documents will be e-mailed to Zoom meeting attendees prior to the meeting. During the Zoom meeting interested parties may schedule a site visit with the Architect. Due to State COVID-19 state guidance specific time slots will be assigned to contractor representatives. No more than five persons will be allowed per time slot. Face mask will be required throughout the visit. The Stamford Center for Arts reserves the right to waive any defect in any bid and reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The Contractor must be Pre-Qualified as a Roofing Contractor with the State of Connecticut Department of Administrative Services at the time of bid submission.
