STOWE RD CULVERT REPLACEMENT

BID NOTICE STOWE ROAD CULVERT REPLACEMENT OVER MISCOE BROOK TOWN OF GRAFTON, MASSACHUSETTS The Town of Grafton is hereby soliciting sealed bids for the Stowe Road Culvert Replacement over Miscoe Brook. Bids will be open at the Office of the Town Administrator, Grafton Memorial Municipal Center, 30 Providence Road, Grafton, MA on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at 11 A.M. Bids received after such time will not be accepted. Sealed envelopes containing bids must be clearly marked in accordance with the Bidding Contract Requirements. Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid security consisting of a BID BOND, CASH, or, CERTIFIED CHECK issued by a responsible bank or trust company in the amount of 5% of the bid price. The work consists of the replacement of a culvert along Stowe Road over Miscoe Brook in the Town of Grafton, MA with a 14 foot span, three-sided precast box culvert. The work also includes the installation of precast concrete wingwalls on all 4 corners of the new three-sided culvert; installation of precast concrete approach slabs; replacement existing asphalt wearing course that spans over the culvert and into both roadway approaches; installation of MASH performance – tested guardrails; channel reconstruction under the bridge to correct scour; and wetland replication to replace temporary wetland impacts.
