The invasion of Autonomous Machines

The current thought process of majority trade Project Managers and the traditional workflows they roll out is changing. Rapidly. Civilian and consumer life is now adopting and embracing Autonomous Machine driving technologies and the construction industry is right in queue too. With increased Covid restrictions on site and labor shortages we will be seeing increased adoption on projects at high rates over the next fiscal 2021 year.

Caterpillar and Komatsu as well as new companies, Safe AI and Built Robotics, are proving the tasks and efficiencies autonomous machines provide and how it can accelerate their construction projects.

Other major players such as Hilti, Trimble and Boston Dynamics have now also started deploying similar technology workflows in robotics and construction management software’s collaborating together. Robots will be a major player in the construction workplace within 1-5 years from demolition to masonry.
