The Tyngsborough Middle School Building Committee (‘TMSBC’), acting on behalf of the Town of Tyngsborough (‘Awarding Authority’) through the Town Manager and the Trade Prequalification Sub-Committee is soliciting Trade contractor qualifications for the Acoustical Tile ($1m); Electrical ($8.3m); Elevators ($220k); Fire Protection/Sprinkler Systems ($1.1m); Glass and Glazing ($150k); HVAC ($8.6m); Masonry ($3m); Metal Windows ($2.1m); Misc. and Ornamental Iron ($790k); Painting ($470k); Plumbing ($3m); Resilient Floors ($710k); Roofing & Flashing ($3.5m); Tile ($120k); Waterproofing, Damproofing and Caulking ($475k); (‘classes of work’) for the construction and related sitework of a new Tyngsborough Middle School to be located at 50 Norris Road, Tyngsborough, MA, 01879 (‘Project’). Interested Trade contractors are invited to submit a Statement of Qualifications (‘SOQ’) to the Town of Tyngsborough. This Trade Contractor procurement is conducted pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 149A. The TMSBC has established a prequalification sub-committee which will evaluate submitted SOQs and will determine if the respondents are deemed qualified or not qualified to participate in the subsequent RFB (Request For Bid). Only those respondents deemed qualified will be invited to submit a Bid.On behalf of the Town of Tyngsborough, the RFQ (‘Request For Qualifications’) will be available electronically through Leftfield, LLC on or after January 11, 2023. SOQ’s are to be uploaded no later than February 10, 2023 by 4:00PM to the electronic delivery portal as described in RFQ. SOQ’s submitted by courier, hand delivery, fax or electronic mail will not be considered.The Town of Tyngsborough and Pre-Qualification Committee reserves the right to waive any informality in the RFQ process, to reject any and all SOQ’s and to make determinations on Trade Contractor firms deemed ‘qualified’ pursuant to M.G.L.
