TOWN OF BARNSTABLE INVITATION FOR BID The Barnstable School District, is requesting bids for the following: UNIT VENTILATOR REPLACEMENTS AT CENTERVILLE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL Sealed General Contract bids will be received at the Town of Barnstable, Chief Procurement Officer, 230 South Street, Hyannis, MA 02601 until 2PM 6/30/210. Filed Sub bids for Electrical will be received at the Town of Barnstable Chief Procurement Officer, 230 South Street, Hyannis, MA 02601 until 2PM 6/23/21. Bid specifications may be obtained on the Town of Barnstable Website, Bid & RFP System at www.townofbarnstable.us immediately. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Labor and Materials Payment Bond and a Performance Bond each in the amount of 100% of the contract amount. Proposals must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of 5% of the Bid Price. A non-mandatory, pre-bid meeting will take place at 3 pm, on 6/14/21 at 658 Bay Lane, Centerville, MA 02632. Liquated Damages required. Full compliance with Federal, State and Municipal Wage Laws is required of all work done for the Town of Barnstable. Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Commissioner of Department of Labor and Industries under the provision of the Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Section 26 to 27D, as amended, apply to this project. Prevailing Wage Rates dated 5/11/21 are applicable to this project. OSHA required. 10.4 % MBE/WBE required. General bidders must be certified by the Massachusetts Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) for the category of HVAC. Filed Sub Bids must be certified by the Massachusetts Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) for the category of Electrical. All bids for this project are subject to the provisions of all applicable Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149 Laws as amended, and other applicable Massachusetts General Laws.
