TOWN OF BARNSTABLE INVITATION FOR BID The Cape Cod Gateway Airport, through the Chief Procurement Officer, is requesting bids for the following: FLEET HANGER DOOR REPLACEMENT PROJECT Sealed General Contract bids will be received at the Town of Barnstable, Chief Procurement Officer, PROCUREMENT LOCK BOX, 230 South Street, Hyannis, MA 02601 until 2PM 6/30/21. Filed Sub Bids for Electrical will be received until 2 PM 6/23/21. Bid specifications may be obtained on the Town of Barnstable Website, Bid & RFP System at www.townofbarnstable.us. All bidders must register on the Bid & RFP System to receive documents. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Labor and Materials Payment Bond and a Performance Bond each in the amount of 100% of the contract amount. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of 5% of the Bid Price. A non-mandatory, pre-bid meeting will take place at 6/9/21 at 11AM at 480 Barnstable Road, Hyannis, MA 02601. All bidders questions are due by not later than 12PM, 6/15/21. Full compliance with Federal, State and Municipal Wage Laws is required. Davis Bacon Wages rates 5/7/21 or Prevailing Wage Rates dated 5/28/21, whichever are higher, are applicable to this project. Certification of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Training is required. Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), Cape Cod Gateway Airport are applicable. The “Fair Share” construction requirement for this project is a minimum of 3.7% combined DBE participation by state certified DBEs. Within five days after the Bid Opening, the Bidder shall submit a “Schedule for Participation by Disadvantaged Business Enterprises” with accompanying Letters of Intent by each minority subcontractor proposed to be used by the Bidder. GENERAL BIDDERS must be certified by the Massachusetts Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) for the category of General Construction General FILED SUBBIDS Electrical shall be accompanied by a DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility for the category, and an Update Statement. All bids for this project are subject to the provisions of all applicable Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149 Laws as amended, and other applicable Massachusetts General Laws. The Town of Barnstable reserves the right to waive any formalities, to reject any or all Bids or waive any formalities that appear to be in the best interest of the Town. June 6, 2021
