TOWN OF BARNSTABLE INVITATION FOR BID The Department of Public Works, is requesting bids for the following: FY22 SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION BUILDING MECHANICAL UPGRADE PROJECT Sealed General Contract bids will be received at the Town of Barnstable, PROCUREMENT LOCK BOX, located in front of the School Administration Building, 230 South St, Hyannis, MA 02601 until 2 PM 10/20/2021. Sealed Filed Sub-Bids will be received at the Town of Barnstable, PROCUREMENT LOCK BOX, located in front of the School Administration Building, 230 South St., Hyannis, MA 02601 until 2 PM 10/13/2021.Bid specifications may be obtained on the Town of Barnstable Website, Bid & RFP System at www.townofbarnstable.us immediately. General Contractor & Filed Sub Bid Openings Via ZOOM. 100% Payment and Performance Bonds are required. 5% Bid Bond is required. Non-mandatory, pre-bid meeting will take place at 10am, on 9/29/2021 on site at 230 South Street, Hyannis, MA 02601. All bidders questions are due by not later than 12:00 PM, 10/6/2021. OSHA Certification Required. General bidders must be certified by DCAMM for the category of General Construction. MBE/WBE 10.4% is required. Filed Sub Bidders must be certified by DCAMM for the categories of Tile, Plumbing, HVAC and Electrical and all shall be accompanied by a DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility for the category, and an Update Statement. All bids for this project are subject to the provisions of all applicable Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149 Laws as amended, and other applicable Massachusetts General Laws. Attention is directed to the minimum wage rates to be paid on the work as determined by the Commissioner of Labor and Workforce Development.
