Town of BedfordRequest for ProposalsRefuse & Recycling Collection & TransportationThe Town of Bedford, Massachusetts (herein ‘The Town’) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors (‘Proposers’ or ‘Contractors’) for weekly collection, transportation, disposal and recycling services for curbside refuse and single stream recycling for all residential properties in Bedford.Contract Documents may be examined and/or obtained beginning February 6, 2023 by registering online to download bid documents at https://www.bedfordma.gov/Bids.aspx. Please note that it is the Bidder’s responsibility to make certain they have received any/all addenda relating to their bid prior to the bid deadline.The Town currently provides four weeks of leaf and yard waste collection per year (1 Spring, 3 Fall), plus one week of Christmas tree collection in January. The Town currently allows residents to schedule one bulky item for collection per week as part of the refuse collection program.
