The Town of Chaplin is seeking sealed bids for battery operated rescue tools to be placed in service with the Chaplin Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. Bid specifications may be obtained at the Chaplin Town Hall, 495 Phoenixville Road, Chaplin, CT during normal business hours or by email at assistant@chaplinct.org. Bids will be accepted at the Town Hall until 2pm on Tuesday February 28, 2023. All bids will be publicly opened on February 28, 2023 at 2:15pm in the Town Hall.
Late bids will not be accepted. All bids must be in a sealed envelope labeled “CVFD Battery Operated Rescue Tools” and be submitted by US Postal Service or hand delivered to the First Selectmans Office, 495 Phoenixville Road, Chaplin, CT. The Town of Chaplin reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or part if it is deemed by the Town to be in its best interest.
