TOWN OF SALISBURY Request for Proposals The Town of Salisbury, pursuant to MA General Laws, Chapter 30B, Sec 16 is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) for the disposition of one (1) parcel of Town- owned land located at 3 Main Street. The Town is now looking for qualified buyers to purchase said property. The Request for Proposals is available from the Salisbury Department of Planning and Development, Town of Salisbury, 5 Beach Road, Salisbury, MA on Wednesday, March 23, 2022. Business hours: Monday 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Friday 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Questions concerning the RFP should be directed to Jennifer Geary, Administrative Assistant for Planning and Development at 978-463-2263. There will be a briefing session at Salisbury Town Hall, 5 Beach Road, Salisbury, MA 01952 on April 13, 2022 at 10:00 AM. Four copies of the proposal must be received no later than 12:00PM on Friday, May 13, 2022 at the Planning Department, 5 Beach Road, Salisbury, MA 01952. No fax or email bids will be accepted. The proposals must be clearly marked on the front “McKenna Property, 3 Main Street, Salisbury, MA”. The Town will evaluate the proposals based on criteria found in the full specifications, and make a recommendation to the Town’s awarding authority. The Town of Salisbury through its awarding authority reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive any defect, informality or minor irregularities and to award a contract or cancel this RFP if it is in the best interest of the Town to do so.
