TOWN OF TRUMBULL TOWN ENGINEERING REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS REHABILITATION OF THREE WALKING TRAIL BRIDGES RFP 6467 DUE: February, 22, 2023 at 2:00 PM Sealed proposals for Rehabilitation of Three Walking Trail Bridges will be received at the office of the Purchasing Agent, 5866 Main Street, Trumbull, Connecticut, on or before the date indicated above. Proposal- Bid documents are available from the Purchasing Department website www.trumbull-ct.gov under the government /purchasing Department Section link to ” Bid Opportunities and also on the State Contracting Portal www.das.ct.gov/portal The consulting engineer for this project is: DeStefano & Chamberlain, Inc., 50 Thorpe Street, Fairfield, CT 06824, 203.254.7131. Proposals shall comply with State mandated Prevailing Wage Guidelines, Equal Opportunity Employment Practices, and Safety and Health Regulations. Bid Security is required in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the base proposal and shall be in the form of a Certified Check or Bid Bond. There will be a Mandatory pre-bid walk-through on February 7, 2023 at 10 am at 121 Old Mine Rd, Trumbull, CT 06611. We will meet in the parking lot and take attendance and then proceed to each of the 3 bridge sites. The Town of Trumbull reserves the right to waive and/or reject any and all proposals or any part thereof, waive the information in the proposal process, and reject any unqualified proposals, or accept any proposal or part thereof, deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of Trumbull.
