TOWN OF ASHBURNHAM – DPW 17 CENTRAL STREET, ASHBURNHAM, MA 01430 LEGAL NOTICE Town of Ashburnham Bids for Asphalt Products FY2022 The Board of Selectman requests bids for the following asphalt products: bituminous concrete binder and top; in place reclamation, pavement milling and crack sealing. All materials must meet the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Highway specifications Bid under Chapters 30 and 29M pursuant to the bidding laws, must comply with the Prevailing Wage Law, Chapter 149, Sections 26 & 27 and all prospective bidders must be pre-qualified by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MA DOT). To request Specifications and Bid forms contact Julie Dean/Randy Williams by email jdean@ashburnham-ma.gov & rwilliams@ashburnham-ma.gov or at 978-827-4120 between the hours of 7:00 am and 3:00 pm Monday-Friday. Bidders requesting bid packages to be mailed out must send in a check in the amount of $3.00 made payable to the Town of Ashburnham to cover postage. Sealed bids will be accepted until 11:00 am on June 3, 2021 at the Town Administrator’s Office, 32 Main Street, Ashburnham, MA 01430 and will be opened publicly at that time in the Lower Level Meeting room at Ashburnham Town Hall. Bids shall be identified by clearly marking the outside of the bid envelope with the words: ASPHALT PRODUCTS BID. The Board of Selectman reserve the right to reject any and all bids, wholly or in part, and make awards in a manner deemed in the best interest of the Town of Ashburnham.
