HUTTO, TEXAS – ProDirt Services LLC has now paid it’s employee $1680.00 in back wages after first refusing and denying the claim. It was found that a healthcare provider instructed the employee to self-quarantine for COVID-19 potential exposures.
U.S. Department of Labor’s Wage & Hour Division (WHD) states that ProDirt Services had violated the Emergency Paid Sick Leave ACT (EPSLA). ProDirt denying the employees request when a health care provider recommended the quarantine due to the employees family member being exposed violated the Act.
