CYBER RISK ALERT: Level 10

United States Of America – Cyber Risk levels remain at Level 10 for the United States and Canada. Level 10 Cyber Risk has been continuous since August 2021 and throughout the geo-political global events in Ukraine and domestically.

Most threats are connected to Far Right Regimes both globally and domestically in the United States. Cyber gangs related to or through their illicit operations are affecting most Businesses, Institutions, Media Outlets, Critical Infrastructure, Healthcare and Educational organizations and should remain diligent and proceed with continuous hardening, updating and monitoring of NIST, CISA, DHS and FBI alerts.

As with past elections in the United States citizens should expect the threats to become more entranced and rapid as the upcoming elections near. Governments are abusing technological advancements to infringe on the democratic process and on the human rights of their constituents.

Governments misuse technology, whether by imposing Internet shutdowns, controlling Internet access & content, or resorting to online harassment to target and abuse people who hold dissenting beliefs. Most focus to restrict freedom of expression and impede the free and open exchange of ideas.

Intellectual Property, user data, economic and financial information are all targets and no organization or individuals are immune. Preventive practices should be adopted.
